What is My Favorite Bonus?

I consult with a lot of different companies and one of the most frequent questions I’m asked is – “If you were going to get involved in another network marketing company, what bonus would you want to see in there”

My favorite bonus that I’m going to discuss today is the Matching Bonus.

What is a Matching Bonus?

In network marketing we have two primary goals; to sell products and recruit new distributors.

If you’re looking to make money in network marketing you need to have a compensation plan that rewards, recognizes, and incentivizes your distributors.

For those distributors to make money, they can work harder, or they can work smarter. They can either go out and work really hard to sell a lot of product or they can work smarter; they can recruit and train a team of people to help them reach those sales goals.

Now you’re probably asking what a matching bonus has to do with that. Say that my goal is to match $10,000 a month and the company has a 20% matching bonus, if I recruit 5 people, and help them each of them make $10,000 a month, and I receive a 20% matching bonus from each of them, combined I’m also making my target $10,000 in bonuses.

This industry is really about community, it’s about helping other people reach their goals and in turn, you’re going to reach yours.
